INDO-PARTHIANS, Margiana or Sogdiana. Uncertain, late 1st century BC-early 1st century. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.97 g), imitating Phraates IV (38-2 BC). Bust Phraates IV to left with a short pointed beard, wearing a diadem with three ends; behind head, an eagle to left with a wreath in beak; countermark engraved on the die: helmeted bust to right. Rev. Archer seated right, holding bow; blundered Greek legend around. Sellwood 91.13. Rare. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
